This cart driving game is ultra-fast and ultra-smooth and ultra-fun for fans of the cartoony, anything goes smash your enemies with dynamite sticks racing genre. Whether you’re a Nascar stock car fan or not this game should appeal to you if you’re in the mood for a family friendly outing of competitive Kart racing. Drive the DuPont car, Lowe’s race car or (my favorite) the M&M race car! There are also a number of unlockable fictional characters (that players unlock) who would easily win any Wii wet T-Shirt contest. Now… that’s a game idea…. Classic Game Room HD reviews MAG for Playstation 3 PS3. Multiplayer Action Game, hoorah! Mag may not be the most prolific shooter ever created but Sony’s PS3 exclusive shooter is made for massive multiplayer games and succeeds. Short on style but high on action, that’s MAG in a nutshell. Smooth online games with up to 256 player battles and very little wait time between matches. Headset compatible with lots of people playing and numerous combat style engagements, MAG excels where so many other shooters fall flat on their face. On the downside for some is the fact that MAG is multiplayer only, so the fun only lasts as long as people are playing it. MAG is like a combination of Warhawk and Modern Warfare 2. Well designed multiplayer boards and fast paced combat with upgrade ready machine guns, sniper riles and heavy weapons await PS3 gamers. Classic Game Room – DUKE NUKEM 3D for Sega Saturn review

Classic Game Room reviews DUKE NUKEM 3D for Sega Saturn. The hilarious, iconic first person shooter from 3D realms originally released in 1996 found its way onto the Sega Saturn shortly thereafter. Sluggish gameplay with lag and delay basically ruins what is otherwise an awesome first person shooter. While Duke Nukem 3D is playable on the Sega Saturn and a truly awesome videogame, there are better versions of Duke Nukem 3D out there (PC and Xbox 360). This CGR review of Duke Nukem 3D has gameplay from Duke Nukem 3D showing game play on Sega Saturn.

Classic Game Room HD reviews BEN 10 ALIEN FORCE for Nintendo Wii video game console. Based on the popular Cartoon Network TV show, Ben 10 is a side scrolling beat ‘em up video game with a 3D style and multiple character changing gameplay elements. This CGRHD review of Ben 10 Alien Force has gameplay footage from Ben 10 Alien Force on Wii (also available on Nintendo DS), showing Spidermonkey at the Waterfall, how to use Big Chill and Jet Ray and Kevin and more. How does Ben 10 Alien Force compare to other side scroller beat em ups like Streets of Rage? Your character has an Omnitirix to change into monster or alien forms (whatever they are, I don’t watch the show). This is a fun game and sells at a value price, it may not be the best video game ever made but it keeps to a relatively faithful 2D side scrolling beatem up style while adding some new elements. Plays acceptably with the Wii controller and nunchuck. You can also disable the motion controls which is what I did. Ben 10 is rated E for everyone and is clearly a kids game, but older games looking for some new games on the Wii can find enjoyment with it as well. Battle your way through 100 levels to save your lady friend from the clutches of Donkey Kong. Amazing action, strategy and replay value await you in this classic title which is regarded as one of the best Game Boy video game cartridges. This CGRHD review of Donkey Kong Gameboy from 1994 has gameplay footage from Donkey Kong Game Boy showing game play and levels in action. Recorded on a Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP, Donkey Kong looks sharp, smooth and awesome. Gameplay is solid and the controls are excellent. Classic Game Room HD reviews DARKEST OF DAYS for Xbox 360 where you fight your way through history in this very interesting and bizarre first person shooter! Ever wanted to tear through the American Civil War with a futuristic machine gun, or run through the trenches in WW1 with superballs that save people from being wiped out of time??? Well, if you can take the technical glitches and jerky gameplay then you may really dig Darkest of Days for Xbox 360. This CGR review of Darkest of Days has gameplay from this science fiction / historical shooter where you engage in combat during the Civil War, WW1, WW2 and more. Antique weapons and sci fi artillery are at your disposal, but not all at once. Darkest of Days may just be the weirdest FPS you’ll ever play with a lengthy storyline and odd animation scenes. It’s not for everyone, but for those who enjoyed the Highlander TV show or Quantum Leap it may be right up your alley.

Classic Game Room HD reviews CALL OF DUTY 2 for Xbox 360 (also on PC). Call of Duty 2 is developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, it takes place during World War 2 and features several characters from the allied perspective. You play as a Russian, British soldier and American and fight wave after wave of Nazis in dozens of intense battles across the globe. Massive in size and scope, COD2 has an immense single player campaign that is both challenging and exhilerating with constant, non stop gunfights and some vehicle levels. Duke it out across deserts, wrecked cities and through France during the D-Day operation, this early release for the Xbox 360 was a pretty heavy hitter as far as first person shooters go. Extremely affordable today and overshadowed by its younger sibling, COD4 Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 2 should not be overlooked by fans of action games, FPS shooters and WW2 video game enthusiasts. This CGRHD review of Call of Duty 2 has gameplay footage from COD2 showing game play during this World War II video game where the din of battle rarely dies down.
